To Our Neighbors
I am so proud to present you with this annual report. 2018 has been an incredibly exciting year of change, growth and accomplishments here at The Richmond Neighborhood Center.
We started out the Year of the Dog with the good news that the Department of Children, Youth and Their Families (DCYF) granted us 5-year contracts to open two new Beacon Centers, a new elementary school site, a service learning program, and the continuation of our high school, elementary, and summer programs. We are now serving more youth and families than ever before and with deeper, more intentional services.
And our good work has not gone unnoticed—in June we were named California Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblymember Phil Ting! This recognition is more than just a reason to feel proud of the work we do. It reaffirms our commitment to provide services that raise the bar year after year, both in San Francisco and throughout the state of California.
Thank you so much for your support in 2018. As we begin our work in 2019, the future looks bright!
