Since early 2018, Harvest has been a generous supporter of The Richmond Neighborhood Center’s programs. As a local business that is committed to giving back to the Richmond community, their team has gone above and beyond their own fundraising, helping us increase our corporate sponsorship network and build relationships that will support our work for years to come.
Last week, Harvest was one of the biggest sponsors of our annual Wine on the Westside fundraiser, an event that is critical to the operation of our Home-Delivered Grocery (HDG) program and other neighborhood and family services. These programs help to provide food security for our low-income neighbors, and HDG ensures that mobility-impaired seniors can still access healthy ingredients for home-cooked meals.
This year’s event saw nearly 200 Neighborhood Center supporters turn out for a great night of local food and drinks at La Promenade Café, with live music, a silent auction, and appearances by great guests like our very own Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer. Harvest’s sponsorship helped us hit our fundraising goals and make Wine on the Westside a huge success!
Since they first joined The Richmond Neighborhood Center as a sponsor of our 2018 Gala, we’ve been incredibly grateful for Harvest’s partnership. We’re excited to work with them on a number of initiatives going forward, from community programs to beautification of the Neighborhood Center headquarters. We’re sure that Harvest will continue to be an excellent partner not just to our organization, but also to many others throughout the Richmond District!
