One Richmond’s Summer Kick Off – a community Health and Safety event

We are thrilled to look back on the incredible success of One Richmond’s Summer Health and Safety Event held at The Richmond Recreation Center. It was a day filled with community spirit, wellness, and fun for all attendees.

🎉 From self-defense workshops that empowered participants with valuable skills to lively music performances that created an energetic atmosphere, the event provided a diverse range of activities for people of all ages.

🀄 The intergenerational mahjong games brought together different generations, fostering connections and laughter. Participants enjoyed the strategic gameplay while building new friendships within the community.

💪 Various community organizations dedicated to health and safety showcased their services and resources, including the SF Human Services Agency, Hearing and Low Vision Solutions, Felton Institute, NICOS Chinese Health Coalition, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense, and many more. Attendees gained valuable insights, accessed important information, and discovered initiatives that promote a healthier and safer lifestyle.

👥 The event was a true celebration of our Richmond district, as neighbors came together to prioritize well-being, build connections, and support one another.
