The Richmond Neighborhood Center Named California Nonprofit of the Year!

This June, The Richmond Neighborhood Center was proud to be named California Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblymember Phil Ting! Members of our leadership team traveled to Sacramento on California Nonprofits Day to receive the award alongside incredible organizations from across the state. It was truly inspiring to see the diversity of good work being done by our fellow Californians.
We’re delighted to join the ranks of California Association of Nonprofits awardees, and to have the opportunity to highlight the great work done by our staff providing after school programs, neighborhood and family services, and community events in the Richmond District.
For more than 35 years, The Richmond Neighborhood Center has been working to nurture a diverse urban community by developing and providing high quality youth, adult, and family programs that address critical community needs and foster respect for all people and our environment. We’re honored to receive this recognition in the State Assembly, and excited to continue our work!
