FINANCE DIRECTOR

This is a Full-Time position. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Finance Director is a strategic thought-partner and will primarily be responsible for planning, directing, organizing and overseeing implementation of the fiscal processes and systems of the organization including, but not limited to: developing and monitoring compliance with financial policies and regulations, preparing and analyzing budgets, financial reports/projections, and managing the accounting functions.  The Finance Director ensures that appropriate activities are employed to safeguard funds, provide timely and accurate reporting and proposes strategies to ensure the fiscal solvency and health of The Richmond Neighborhood Center. Summer Camp Positions

Elementary School Summer Camp Activity Leaders

This is a Temporary Full-Time position.  $17-17.25/hr. As a Summer Activity Leader, your responsibilities are 2-fold: 1) responsible for planning a different enrichment activity class for each week and responsible for running that 2-hour enrichment activity class in the morning Monday-Thursday.  2) responsible for plugging in activities into a set structure for the afternoon camp groups and running those groups.  Examples of enrichment classes are: Arts n ’Crafts, Photography, dance, Cartooning, Singing, Fashion Arts, sports.  Examples of group activities are: science, media (videotaping, Zine making, etc), sports, arts, local field trips. Middle School Summer Camp Program Leader

This is a Temporary Full-Time position.  $17.75-18/hr.  As a Summer Program Leader, you will be responsible for developing week-long themes, activities and goals. You will facilitate deep, intentional skill building spaces with project-based learning opportunities, that incorporate field trips, community circles, reflection strategies, SEL skill-building, and culturally-relevant content. The Summer Program Leader also provides curriculum, leadership, supervision support to their assigned staff team, as well as coordinated activities and special events. Middle School Summer Camp Senior Activity Leader

This is a Temporary Full-Time position. $17.25/hr. As a Summer Sr. Activity Leader, you will develop and create fun, guided activities for youth in our camps. You will lead off campus field trips and create opportunities to infuse youth voice into our Beacon Camp programming. Middle School Summer Camp Activity Leader

This is a Temporary Full-Time position. $17.00/hr. As a Summer Activity Leader, you will facilitate fun, guided “free time” activities for youth in our camps. You will lead off campus field trips and documented lesson plan activities for participants. School Year positions 2019-20

Middle School SEL Leader

This is Seasonal Part-Time position. $18.50 – $20.50/hr. As an SEL Leader, you will providing support to our middle school population with primary focus on supporting middle school students through transitions, behaviors, social skills, and academics. Tasks include co-facilitating small social skills/mentoring groups, promoting positive student behavior and choices via PBIS methodology, and planning/facilitation of wellness & mindfulness activities for students. SEL Leaders will also be working closely with SFUSD and Beacon staff to ensure proper referrals for program and will be required to take precise notes about services and resources they are providing to students and their families. Middle School SEL Coordinator

This is a Seasonal Part-Time position. $22 – $24/hr. As SEL Coordinator, you will provide supervision and support the health, well being, self-advocacy, educational, and behavioral outcomes of 6th-8th grade students. The SEL Coordinator will also support SEL Leaders and continue to hone their skills to best support youth and to grow professionally. The SEL Coordinator works closely with the School Social Worker to establish best practices and adheres to established protocols. MC/IBP Program Leader

This is a Seasonal Part-Time position. $20 – $22/hr. As MC/IB Program Leader, you will facilitate curriculum created through a critical and social justice oriented lens, as well as become familiar with the Participatory Action Research project process and mentor youth to grow as advocates for themselves and their communities. The ASP Coordinator works in tandem with the Beacon Program Manager to establish best practices and adheres to established protocols.
