Development Director

This is a Regular, Full-Time position. $95,000 – $105,000/year. As we prepare to enter our 40th year, The Richmond Neighborhood Center seeks a seasoned development professional with outstanding relationship building and communication skills to join our team. As the Development Director, you will partner closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to fundraise for a rapidly growing $5.2 million organization. Working alongside the organization’s leadership staff, the Development Director will analyze our needs and shape the strategic vision for development of of funds and communications. The Development Director is responsible for creating and executing a development plan including all institutional giving, oversight of major gifts program, the annual fund  and all special events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event planning and will be able to jump in quickly to execute on the plan for our upcoming gala in Spring 2020. Elementary School Assistant Program Manager

This is a full time position. $18.75 – $20.00 per hour. In conjunction with the Program Manager, the Assistant Program Manager implements and facilitates a range of academic, wellness, and social-emotional educational programming and activities. The Assistant Program Manager will effectively work with staff regarding daily tasks, deadlines, and supervision of staff and youth, support the creation of meaningful parent relationships and engagement activities, and provide direct services to students by helping to supervise during key program times. Elementary School Student Support Leader

This is a Seasonal Part-time position. $17.50 – $18.00/hr. As a Student Support Leader, you will foster a safe, nurturing learning environment for students that is reflective of our mission statement. In conjunction with the Program Manager and the Assistant Program Manager, the Student Support Leader must be able to create and organize engaging activities for a student with limited communication skills, lead developmentally appropriate projects, activities, and games, and help facilitate and support the integration of the student into the afterschool community. The Student Support Leader should possess a flexible and empathetic working style to adapt well with daily student behaviors, schedule changes, and role variation.  Student Support Leader must facilitate a range of academic, wellness, and social-emotional educational programming and activities. The Student Support Leader addresses student behaviors and maintains group/classroom management. The Student Support Leader will work with a team of collaborative colleagues and will contribute to fostering a community of learning, growth, and equity. Elementary School Activity Leader

This is a Seasonal Part-time position. $17.25 – $18.00/hr. As an Activity Leader, you will foster a safe, nurturing learning environment for students that is reflective of our mission statement. In conjunction with the Assistant Program Manager and Lead Activity Leader, implements and facilitates a range of academic, wellness, and social-emotional educational programming and activities. Activity Leaders also apply applicable behavior guidance models (Restorative Practice, Positive Behavior Reinforcements, etc.) to address student behaviors and maintain group/classroom management. You will work with a team of collaborative colleagues and help to foster a community of learning, growth, and equity. Middle School Multicultural and Identity-Based Program Leader

This is a Seasonal Part-Time position. $20.00 – $24.00/hr. As a Multicultural and Identity-Based Program Leader, you will facilitate curriculum created through a critical and social justice-oriented lens, as well as become familiar with the Participatory Action Research project process and mentor youth to grow as advocates for themselves and their communities. Program Leaders will also work with the Program Manager to create their own curriculum. High School Student Support Leader

This is a Seasonal Part-Time position. $18/hr, 3 hrs/week on Wednesdays, 12-3PM. As a Student Support Leader, you will support a teen male student with special needs in The Richmond Neighborhood Center’s afterschool program. Working with a team of highly collaborative colleagues, you will encourage inclusion with students and staff and help foster a community of caring adults, seeking to create safe and supportive environments for teens to be themselves and reach their goals. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GIRLS SPORTS COACH

This is a Seasonal Part-Time position. $20.00 per hour, 15 hours per week. Together, The Richmond Neighborhood Center and Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center (a program of BACR) are looking for energetic, highly motivated and creative individuals to work as Girls Sports Coaches in our after-school program at elementary schools in the Richmond and Sunset Districts. Our programs foster creative horizon-broadening programming.
