The Richmond Neighborhood Center hires high school students (juniors and seniors) to work in our Elementary and Middle School Youth Programs after school. The Youth Program Assistant (YPA) program provides individualized support and group training to young employees to ensure their academic success and preparation to successfully enter the workforce. The YPA program is perfect for students interested in careers in teaching and youth development. They will develop skills in group management, curriculum planning, conflict resolution, team building, professionalism, time management and communication.
