Great Things Come from Small Beginnings
Since 1988, The Richmond Neighborhood Center has provided high-quality enrichment programming to elementary-aged youth in the Richmond District. Today, we provide families at five elementary schools with after school programs that are safe, fun, academically enhancing and culturally relevant. Programs encourage youth to be curious and build strong relationships by practicing social and emotional learning and offering one-on-one case management and social groups to those in need. In addition to homework time and recreational activities, youth take joy in discovering the world around them through project-based learning in a variety of enrichment classes and field trips. By offering a sliding payment scale and free snack, The Richmond Neighborhood Center programs are accessible and affordable.
